It was such an honor to celebrate Carrie and her radiant life’s work through her Intentional Branding Session. Carrie is an artist who intuitively works with hair - creating natural, effortless, sexy and organic styles for her clients of all ages and walks of life. She intentionally works with each clients unique hair texture, face shape and story to create lasting, expressive styles. She uses both scissors and razors to coax out the natural flow and expression of the hair. Carrie is inspired by the ocean, the sun and forest as well as the streets of New York City.

Carrie specializes in sun-kissed balayage as well as the blending of grays. She takes into consideration how the color will grow out using seamless natural, flowing techniques. Vera Lux, which means “true light” (Vera was also Carrie’s grandmothers name) uses only non-toxic color and plant-based eco friendly products.
